WhatsApp developers might finally be bringing an important and interesting feature to the app, and this feature is related to the quality of the images that you share with your WhatsApp contacts.
As we all know, WhatsApp hasn’t allowed us to share photos in their original quality from the beginning, as it automatically compresses them, which sometimes makes photo sharing via WhatsApp a huge mess.
But this is going to be resolved with WhatsApp’s new feature, which is currently under its testing phase, as spotted in WhatsApp’s latest beta version.
WhatsApp’s New Feature Allows Sharing Image In Their Original Quality
As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has rolled out a new update in the beta program, and the new version 2.23.2.11 brought a new feature that allows you to share photos in their original quality.
We all know everyone prefers WhatsApp to share photos with their family and friends, but sometimes we require to share files in their original quality, and WhatsApp finally brings it.
This new feature is an addition to an already present quality set feature that comes out in some earlier beta versions 2.21.15.7, for Android.
This already present quality set feature allows you to choose a quality format for photos when you send them, and these options are “automatic“, “best quality“, and “data saver“.
Even the best quality option compresses the image’s original quality by 10 to 15 percent, but in the latest update, there’s a new option with the term “original quality” that will dispatch uncompressed images.
Also, you can set any option as default from WhatsApp settings, according to your priority.
Currently, there is no exact date or any information on when the company will release this feature for everyone within the stable update. As this feature is under its testing phase so there are chances we will see some changes in its final release.
