Microsoft has launched a lite version of the Outlook app for low-end Android smartphones, and it is now available to download from the Google Play Store.
The company launched it after receiving many complaints about the app not working correctly on some smartphones, and last month, we got a hint about its development.
Microsoft Outlook Lite App Now Available to Download
This lightweight Outlook app is designed with the aim of having a smaller app size, faster performance, and lower battery usage, so every low-end device can support it and experience it.
The download size of this app is just 5.2MB, and after downloading, it will take significantly low storage on your device.
Microsoft also explained that this lightweight version is well optimized to run fast on all Android devices, even if you are using it on devices with 1GB RAM.
Currently, the company has launched this app in some selected countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Venezuela.
Outlook Lite allows you to use it on any network, including 2G and 3G networks, as it is built with optimization to give you the experience of the main features of Microsoft Outlook.
It will also operate with low battery usage because it only uses main resources, so your battery will be saved.
You might be wondering that this app will only show you emails, so you’re wrong. The Outlook Lite app will support Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, MSN, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Exchange Online accounts.
