Apple might be planning to change the display size and panel type of iPad Pro models that are coming in Q1 2024. We can’t doubt this key detail as it came from a very reliable source.
Recently, Apple has launched two new M2 chip-powered iPad models, but in 2024 we will see some extraordinary iPad model launches, and now, this lineup includes OLED & larger display iPad models.
Apple iPad Lineup In 2024 Getting Huge Improvements
According to display analyst Ross Young (via MacRumors), the company will introduce 11.1-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro models in the first quarter of 2024.
In some earlier reports, Ross has already mentioned the arrival of OLED iPad Pro models in 2024, but now, for the first time, he noted details about screen size increment as he got from his sources.
While this size increase in screen is not huge, it is a very minimal change, but its impact would be huge.
The current iPad Pro model’s screen size is 12.9 inches with a mini-LED panel and 11 inches with an LCD display panel. And in comparison with upcoming models, this increment is around 0.10 inches.
This change even seems hard to notice in the display, but thanks to it, you will see a huge reduction in the bezels of these iPad models, and with that display will appear more immersive.
Besides, OLED panel display is also in the way to make iPad Pro model’s display more immersive, and it may come in iPad Pro models by the next year if not, so in 2024.
Ross Young hasn’t noted anything about the price of these iPad Pro models, but we will surely see a price bump as multiple upgrades are coming with it.
Also, Apple’s first foldable iPad is reported to arrive in 2024, and this foldable iPad will have a 20-inch complete display size when it is unfolded. And another 16-inch sized iPad model is also expected.
